The information and data you provide or that are otherwise acquired in the context of our services, such as information requests sent through the contact form (hereinafter, collectively: “Services“), will be processed in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter: “Regulation“) and with the confidentiality obligations that guide our business.
Pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) and to Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, the Personal Data Protection Code, as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018, the processing of information concerning you will be based on the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose and storage limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.
Taxi Cortina Sci (data controller), pursuant to Article 13 of the Regulation, therefore provides you with the following information on the processing of personal data provided for the use of the services offered by the data controller and by the website taxicortinasci.com and all its subdomains (hereinafter the Website).
A) Purposes of processing
Pursuant to the Regulation, the personal data collected will be processed, through automated storage in the data controller’s IT system, for purposes connected with the data controller’s business and services:
1.1. to provide you with assistance in using the services and, in general, to manage the services, starting from the requests sent through the contact form;
1.2. to send you communications about how to use the services;
1.3. only with your express consent, to send you commercial communications about the data controller’s business. If consent is not given, it is understood as NOT granted;
1.4. to ensure that the Website works properly and securely and to protect it from abuse and automated submissions;
1.5. only with the consent given on the cookie banner, to collect visitor statistics and to measure the effectiveness of any advertising campaigns (see the Cookies section).
Data sent through the contact form, built with Contact Form 7, are sent by email to the data controller and stored in the Website database through the Advanced CF7 DB plugin, so that requests remain available over time; the CP Pulizia Dati Form plugin deletes them automatically after 24 months.
To prevent the form from being used by automated systems, the Website uses Google reCAPTCHA v3, which sends Google the IP address and some information about the interaction with the page and is activated only when the form appears on the screen, and Akismet, which receives the name, email address and IP address of the sender and checks them against a database of spam reports.
B) Mandatory or optional nature of providing data and consequences of refusal
The legal basis for processing Personal Data for the purposes in section A (1.1 and 1.2) is Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation, as processing is necessary to provide the requested services. Providing Personal Data for these purposes is optional, but failure to provide them would make it impossible to activate the requested Services.
The purpose in section A (1.4) is based on the data controller’s legitimate interest in keeping the Website working and secure (Article 6(1)(f) of the Regulation). The purposes in section A (1.3 and 1.5) are based on the data subject’s consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation), which can be withdrawn at any time. Once Personal Data have been provided, processing may also be necessary to comply with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) of the Regulation).
Therefore, providing data is optional, but refusing to do so may make it impossible to access the services offered by this website.
C) Recipients of the data and scope of disclosure
The personal data you have provided may be communicated only to:
4.1. public or private bodies to comply with obligations under the law or EU legislation;
4.2. technical service providers used by the Website, acting as data processors or as independent controllers:
- HOST S.p.A., Corso Svizzera 185, 10149 Turin, Italy: provides the web space hosting the Website and keeps the server logs (privacy policy);
- Google: provides Google Analytics, Google Ads, reCAPTCHA and Google Fonts (privacy policy);
- Automattic: runs the Akismet anti-spam service (privacy policy);
- Trustindex: displays Google reviews on the Website, loaded from its own servers (privacy policy);
- Wordfence: security system of the Website, which logs IP addresses and access attempts (privacy policy);
- Dropbox: receives the Website backups, which include the database (privacy policy);
- ManageWP: allows remote technical management and maintenance of the Website (privacy policy).
4.3. some of your Personal Data are shared with Recipients located outside the European Economic Area (see section H). We ensure that the processing of your Personal Data by these Recipients complies with the Regulation. More information is available from the data controller.
D) Rights of the data subject under Articles 15 to 22 and 77 of the Regulation
5.1. the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you exist, even if not yet recorded, and to have them communicated in an intelligible form;
5.2. the right to be informed of the source of the personal data (Article 15), the purposes and methods of processing, the logic applied in case of processing carried out with electronic tools, the identification details of the controller and processors, and the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated;
5.3. the right to obtain the updating, rectification or integration of data, as well as their erasure, anonymisation or blocking if processed unlawfully, including data whose storage is not necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed;
5.4. the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of sending advertising material or direct sales, or for market research or commercial communication;
5.5. the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Italian Data Protection Authority, Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali), under Article 77 of the Regulation, if you believe that the processing of your data infringes the law;
5.6. the right to request from the data controller at any time access to your personal data, their rectification or erasure, or to object to their processing; the right to request restriction of processing in the cases provided for by Article 18 of the Regulation, and to receive the data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format in the cases provided for by Article 20 of the Regulation;
5.7. the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

E) Applicable law
The legal bases of each processing activity are set out in section B. Data processing is governed by EU Regulation 2016/679 and by Italian data protection law.
F) Data retention period
Personal Data will be kept for the time strictly necessary to achieve those purposes. In any case, since processing is carried out to provide Services, we will process Personal Data for as long as permitted by Italian law to protect our interests (Article 2946 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code). In particular:
- browsing data and server logs: for the time technically necessary for security and diagnostics, according to the hosting provider’s settings;
- messages received through the contact form: deleted automatically from the Website database after 24 months;
- commercial communications (section A 1.3): until consent is withdrawn;
- Google Analytics statistical data: up to a maximum of fourteen months, according to the property settings;
- consent log: twelve months from recording, with automatic deletion of older entries;
- backups: replaced by later copies according to the configured rotation cycle.
In any case, we may keep your Personal Data for as long as permitted by Italian law to protect our interests. More information on the retention period and the criteria used to determine it can be requested by writing to the data controller.

H) Data transfer
Data collected by the website are generally not provided to third parties, except in specific cases: a legitimate request by the judicial authority and only in the cases provided for by law, where necessary to provide a specific service requested by the user, or to carry out security checks or website optimisation.
For these purposes, this website shares some of the data collected with providers based outside the European Union or transferring data outside it, in particular to the United States: Google, Automattic, Wordfence, Dropbox and ManageWP (see section C).
The transfer takes place on the basis of the European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for providers that have joined it, and on the basis of the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission in the other cases.
The fonts used by the Website are requested from Google Fonts servers, which receive the visitor’s IP address.
I) Consent log
Every choice made on the cookie banner is recorded in an archive within the Website, which keeps the date and time of acceptance and the IP address in anonymised form, without its last part and therefore not traceable to a single device. The log is used to demonstrate, if requested, that consent was collected correctly; the data are not communicated to anyone and remain on the server hosting the Website. Legal basis: the controller’s obligation to be able to demonstrate the consent given (Article 7(1) of the Regulation).
L) Security measures
We also inform you that, as provided for by Article 5 GDPR 2016/679, personal data relating to you will be processed lawfully, fairly and transparently; collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes; adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.
Data sent through the Website travel encrypted over the HTTPS protocol; access to the administration area is protected by personal credentials and by the Wordfence security system. However, no system is absolutely secure, and the total inviolability of information transmitted over the Internet cannot be guaranteed.
Taxi Cortina Sci, controller of personal data on the website www.taxicortinasci.com, informs you that it uses cookies to make its services efficient and easy to use, while guaranteeing the right to informed self-determination, pursuant to Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (“Privacy Code”) and the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021; this extended notice applies only to the website www.taxicortinasci.com and not to other websites the user may visit through a link from our website.
