SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CHAUFFEURED CAR HIRE (NCC)

Users of the rental service are prohibited from:

  • Smoking during transport
  • Drinking alcohol and eating on board
  • Throwing objects from the vehicles whether stationary or in motion
  • Soiling or damaging the vehicle

USER BEHAVIOR DURING THE CHAUFFEURED CAR HIRE SERVICE

  • Insisting that transport be conducted in violation of the safety and behavior norms established by the current Road Code
  • Demanding the transport of pets without having taken, in agreement with the rental company, all necessary measures to prevent damage or soiling of the car
  • Taxi Cortina Sci reserves the right to change the displayed rates in case of night-time hours (+20% from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM), road closures, snowfall or exceptional weather events, or lack of availability. Any change will be communicated directly in the booking confirmation email or as soon as possible in case of events beyond our control
  • On high-season Sundays, we recommend departing from Cortina to Venice by 3:30 PM to avoid the queues formed by return traffic. In case of departure after this time, we cannot guarantee arrival in time for your train or flight, and the rate may increase by 20%
  • Taxi Cortina Sci collaborates with other chauffeured car hire companies with the same standards of quality and efficiency and may use these for the provision of services if necessary
  • Excess luggage, such as skis and equipment, must be declared at the time of booking to avoid the car being unsuitable for such transport
  • TaxiCortinaSci commits in every reasonable way to ensure its vehicles, or vehicles driven by external collaborators, arrive on time for appointments. However, it will not be responsible for delays due to causes beyond its control
  • The cars are all recently registered and covered by insurance for both the car itself and the transported passengers, and comply with the circulation permits in force in Italy and the E.E.C.
  • The transport of passengers is fully covered by the insurance that Taxi Cortina Sci has taken out for its vehicles with third parties. The properties of the passengers, however, are transported entirely under the responsibility of the passenger who declares ownership at the time of boarding. We recommend checking your luggage at departure
  • Taxi Cortina Sci reserves the right to change parts of this agreement at any time
  • Customers are kindly required to report any problems arising from service failures or deficiencies directly attributable to our operations. It will be our concern to act quickly to resolve any discomfort or loss to the full satisfaction of the customer
  • These transport conditions and all related services comply with the laws regulating the sale of services in Italy, ensuring the protection of the passenger and their luggage

CANCELLATION RIGHT OF THE CHAUFFEURED CAR HIRE SERVICE

The customer can cancel the reservation by sending an email or by phone at +39 338 488979

The cancellation of the chauffeured car hire service or complementary services is accepted:

  • Without penalty up to 24 hours befhours the service
  • With a 50% penalty between 24 hours and 3 hours befhours the service
  • With a 100% penalty within 3 hours prior to the service
  • For agencies: without penalty up to 24 hours befhours the service / with a 100% penalty after 12 hours befhours the service

In case of a canceled flight or significant delay at departure, the customer is requested to notify our booking number to guarantee the presence of our staff upon arrival. Failure to notify may exclude the right to have the car available.

WAITING TIMES AND MEETING POINTS

Unless otherwise agreed, the driver will wait without additional costs:

  • Airport: 1 hour after the flight’s landing
  • Meeting point: in the arrivals hall, immediately after the sliding doors of the baggage claim area with a sign bearing your name
  • Train station: 15 minutes after the train’s arrival
  • Meeting point: directly on the train’s arrival platform, at the height of your carriage with a sign bearing your name
  • Hotel: 15 minutes after the appointment
  • Meeting point: in the hotel’s hall

  • Each extra waiting hour will be charged €30.00 for cars and €40.00 for minivans
