Panoramic Tour: Lagazuoi Cable Car, Val Gardena, and Santa Maddalena in Funes
After savoring history at Passo Falzarego with the optional Lagazuoi cable car ascent*, the journey continues towards Val Gardena, where wood carving reigns supreme.
The carving workshops present at every corner make the visit even more magical. There is the possibility to purchase* figurines and woodworks and observe artisans at work. The tour goes through Selva di Val Gardena, Santa Cristina, up to the enchanting village of Ortisei, surrounded by Seceda and Alpe di Siusi. Then it proceeds to the famous Santa Maddalena in Funes with the view of the Odle group from the San Giovanni Ranui church. Return to Cortina via Val Pusteria (about 2 hours of travel).

Route: Cortina – Lagazuoi cable car at Passo Falzarego – Passo ValParola – Passo Gardena – Selva di Val Gardena – Santa Cristina – Ortisei – Santa Maddalena in Funes – Cortina.
Not to be missed: Lagazuoi cable car* at Passo Falzarego, views from Passo Gardena, carving shops and workshops in Selva di Val Gardena, Ortisei and the Alpe di Siusi* or Seceda* cable car, view of the Odle mountains (*=extra cost).
Notes: Time for one cable car ride included. The tour lasts about 9 hours. Each extra hour costs €40/50.
